incurve got a lot of positive feedback and the community has been great, so it would be difficult to stuff all the ideas into the same game. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel All you need is 1 finger to play. The orbs have a surrounding gravity on, when touching the screen. So you hold to gain momentum/angle and release at the right point to get further. Main features: Room mode, with plenty of small rooms and your only goal is to get to the next one (sort of puzzle/no rush type). Time Attack mode, same as the Room mode but with fixed amount (now 15sec) of time. (Every broken window/new room will add extra time) This one has a longest distance leaderboard. Sprint mode, like in incurve 1, there's a mini jumping mode, this has 100m sprint and 100m hurdle jump. Has time-based leaderboards. So this time you won't be collecting the nodes. Also a few hidden modes included -No iAP -No ads -Game Center leaderboards -One touch
Here's some upcoming action from the game. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Getting really close to the beta now and it's time to get some testers signed! Here's a form so it's easy for me to add your account to the TestFlight Beta: http://goo.gl/forms/FIcNyy0iUY
I can't wait I'd take part in testing but I'm still on ios 7 and I don't think it's possible. Really look forward to release.
Oh yes it look like it's ios 8 and up. But hey, at least this time you should have a beta tested product to get! I'm all new to all that outside beta stuff so fingers crossed.
Thanks again for adding me into the TestFlight of incurve. One of the most addicting games I've played in recent weeks.
Yup. I died right here! Loving the beta (update) so far. I was a little surprised it didn't take over the original that I bought. But then I realized this will be a second game all together.
You're already pro in the first one, but how long approximately it took you to get to that point? That was one of my concerns was that would it get mixed into sector 1, as in that you'd have to play the first one before this etc. But now i got the app description fixed for that. Thanks!
Now that the game has been on beta stage for a few days, the feedback has been really great! I've received some great ideas/suggestions, and they're still more than welcome. Whole lot to do, but the next job is to modify that time attack mode with a heavy hand Some of features: (don't mind the room number on the left gif.. Really that stuff is happening in around room 50) Coming along.
The second beta is waiting for beta review, but i've managed to pull out a 2-player mini game. (Goes for beta 3, or if everything goes well with it.. In the release version) Real pain in the neck is to test a 2-player game with yourself, argue with yourself and still stay stuck at 0 points in the game with yourself. Thanks to 5S for not bending
Finally the game is at a state where it needs a few sounds here and there and the appstore stuff for it (screenshots and preview videos) Day job is really eating the effective development time. Huge thanks to the beta testers for participating!
Game is waiting for review now, there were some huge issues with iTunes connect. But at the end of the day, i'm really happy with the end result.
Great to hear! Just got the new Apple TV, considering the game could work really well on that platform. Played some games there and hated the lack of 1 button games. Here's a gif bomb
Colors were definitely one of the goals, game will have wide range of them. Funny that the only thing that i still wonder is the price. Thoughts on that side? Premium is the way, that much i do know.
$0.99-$1.99? I guess it depends on a bunch of factors that only you know...but whatever price point you decide on initially can be shifted later. All I know is, I can't wait to buy it. Sector 1 delivered so much fun. One of my favorite games this year.
