Thought this was a good section to place this thread as it can be used to buy the games on sale this week. until Thursday Night the $30 itunes card is on sale for $25 ( this is the multi-pack 3 x $10 ) Sale is good Friday, Dec 10, 2010 until Thursday, Dec 16, 2010.
Best Buy in the US had the $50 cards on for $40 over Thanksgiving. Dunno if the sale is still running though.
Not sure if it's a normal sale, but when I was in Sam's Club the other day, they had $60 in itunes cards for $48.
Can someone confirm if normal iTune card will work for app purchase as well? I thought it can be used for app purchase but the fine print said excluding app purchase. Or I still need to get the App Store card. If so, is that also on sales in Walmart?
I've never bought an App Store card. In fact until looking at Wal-Mart's flyer I didn't even know there was such a thing as an App Store card. I suspect Apple made those because regular iTunes cards might confuse people into thinking they're just for music or shows/movies. Either way you can use regular iTunes cards for apps, just as you can probably use App Store cards for music; credit is credit.
Yes, iTunes credit = iTunes credit. You can use any of the gift cards to buy apps. Last time London Drugs had the $25 for $20 I bought two. I'm now down to $7.18. Damn...never thought I'd actually spend it all!
At a US walmart I saw a $15 gift card for $15 but the $25 gift card was $24.88. 12 cents off, anyone? xD

Firstly, thanks OP for the initial post. I picked up a couple of $25 iTunes cards at Canadian Walmart couple weeks ago for $40, a saving of $10. I digged further about Canadian iTunes card situation for app purchase and here's what I found. Canadian iTunes card used to be excluding Appstore purchase but that has been changed since the launch of iPad. This has been reflected in newer batch of iTunes cards as it will state "Get the Latest music, movies, TV shows, games and more." and the fine print in the back. However, there are still lot of older iTunes cards floating around and the front won't mention the word games and the terms and conditions in the back will say something like "Not redeemable for Appstore purchase". Hope this will clarify a bit for those who wonder the same thing as I do.
Last couple of days for the Zellers sale. Picked up a total of 6 $25 cards myself, total of $30 in free credit. Given tonight's major releases that means I'll get most of 'em free.
Future shop and Best Buy Looks like future shop is offering 2 packs of 3 x $10 Itunes cards (in the multipack) $47.99 ( save $12) December 17th to 24th AND..... Bestbuy is selling the same multipack ( 3 x $10) for $24.99 a saving of $5. BOTH OF THESE SALES ARE THE BLUE ITUNES CARDS Merry Christmas to those who celebrate.... Happy Shopping to those who don't
I already took advantage of Zellers, but I think I might get them to price match the 2x$30 pack. Gotta take advantage while the sales are hot. Plus this has been an expensive week of releases and sales.
I know this has been crazy, I have spent about $100 on games so far this month, I will need a bigger ipod soon
