The multiplayer is great, and the same-device multiplayer on the iPad is even better. If somehow you never grabbed this in the many weeks that it sat at the top of the paid charts, do so now while you still can. Very excited for the sequel coming out in a few days. awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #9 awp69, Dec 11, 2011 Had it a long time ago and picked it up again since it's gonna be pulled (which I honestly think is kind of ridiculous. I can understand no longer providing updates, but it's kind of a slimy move to pull it completely) when Trenches 2 comes out. Since it has been a while, I stuck it on easy on the campaign and can't believe that I'm having trouble already getting past the second mission (snipers). Anyway, great freebie! ninjackid Well-Known Member May 27, 2010 9,380 2 38 #10 ninjackid, Dec 11, 2011 Awesome!!! Also, everyone who bought it/downloaded it would probably already have it on their iTunes library in any case. awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #12 awp69, Dec 12, 2011 Guess I'm one of the few who does care about it. I haven't been able to successfully sync my iPod Touch in months (always get some kind of error). The only way I can do it is to do restore to its original state, which I never have wanted to do because of losing saves and having to re-dowload everything. So I've been downloading things directly to my iPod Touch. Anyway, I don't understand why it's a big deal to leave apps out there, but, again, guess I may be the only one who cares. backtothis im in ur base killin ur d00dz Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze Jul 13, 2009 13,250 1 0 college student (junior) Houston/Austin, TX https://twitter.com/back2this #13 backtothis, Dec 12, 2011 Interesting, I nearly always use iTunes. I can't imagine downloading something like The Bard's Tale straight onto my device. In any case, they're not removing the original game just to force people to buy the sequel like Gameloft/EA commonly does. It's because there's conflicting stuff in the second game. awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #14 awp69, Dec 12, 2011 Yes, I wish I could use iTunes. A lot of times when I connect my device, it doesn't recognize it or it acts like it's a new device. I did a full restore to the original state about six months ago and thought it would fix the situation. It didn't. And I was pissed since I sacrificed a lot of saves in the process. So, I'll never do it again. All I use iTunes for now is to download something that might be on sale and I don't have enough room on my device. Then at least the store will recognize my purchase later. So I'm just SOL when I want to redownload something that's pulled. I guess the conflict with Trenches has something to do with multiplayer?
