Hello Everybody! We are Alien Worm company and we want to introduce our upcoming iPhone game - SKY DUEL. SKY DUEL is 2D vertical shooter. You take the role of AH-64 Apache helicopter pilot in fictional Middle East conflict. Your mission is to fly 10 huge levels and destroy rebel forces. We are now working on detailed, realistic graphics and enemies. Game should be ready in August. I am happy that you like our designs. Thanks! We will do our best to make them look as good as possible. You are right - they are rebel forces. We are thinking about repainting them in rebel colors. There will be more than 30 enemy vehicles in game, so you will see a lot of old Soviet arms like T-80 and T-72 tanks or some Kamov and Mil helicopters.
What kind of weapons will the helicopter have? So far we've seen dual yellow projectile machine gun. Will there be special/secondary weapons? If you decide to do beta testing I'd be more than happy to help out. I love SHMUPS.
Helicopter will be armed with machine guns and missiles (as a second weapon). There will be also different fire modes and some power-ups. These yellow bullets will be changed to something more realistic. Now SKY DUEL is not yet ready for beta testing, but I will remember, that you can help.
After months of work our game is almost ready. Game title has been changed to 'Sky Combat'. We are very happy to announce, that 'Sky Combat ' will be published by Chillingo under Clickgamer brand. 'Sky Combat' is visually stunning, top-down frenetic shooter with staggering explosions, realistic real-world terrain and a variety of enemy vehicles and aircraft to destroy. You will be able to fly helicopter and drive motorboat or tank. We will be back soon with more materials and info.
