    Hi, hi, hi there.

For the past couple of weeks, I have been working with a couple of guys on a special project... A new 2D platformer that is all-out crazy!
Now, I've always been used to making films. I've always wanted to make an iPhone game, one with crazy humor that will have you ROFL'ing all the way back to the baby factory - And that's just what this game will have!

    From the original concept drawing:

    **

    LIME STUD GAMES presents

    DEWD LAND
a world with a serious problem

    basic idea:
Land has been infested by an
    evil-doer; attempt to take over
the land. Your 'dewd' is to go
    through various 2D levels, cleaning
the area out of 'weeds' (working
on it...), and collecting items for use
with weapons, and clothing for your
    'dewd'.

    sounds:
Cartoon sounds, whole game is like
    watching a cartoon.

    presentation:
    As you play, small miniclips
    of animation cinimatics appear.

Right now we're still drawing concepts and writing stories.
As you can see, this seems very ambitious, which is why this won't be finished this year, and most likely not next year ;) - But, we'll be sure to update you all... :D

Sounds great. Maybe also the first app store game with a "hoe" :)

Also, since you are used to making films, can you point me to anything you are affiliated with, whether it be on youtube or imdb, or both!

You all will certainly be on the 'que' for beta-testing. I'll write your names down... Hopefully you guys will all be available by the time we have the game roughly made. ;)

@indyraider4: YouTube at the moment... I've only been making stop-motion films at the moment, and the live-action films have been in the works for a while - ah, procrastination. :p

Better this way, all who want to beta-test, PM me your email address.
I think I'll want to limit the list to about 10 people.
Just be aware you won't get contact for a while. We HOPE to finish the game at the end of next year.

To all who sent me a PM about beta-testing:
    You're in.

I think we'll start creating the screenplay tomorrow, and creating various 'concept' looks of the main menu, actual game, etc.

This is not going to be a walk in the park, that's for sure. ;)
Beta-testers, this is going to sound crazy, but for now, you all are just going to be critiqueing our interface and look of the game through photos.
