The forums keep claiming that there are 171 pages in the Super Quickhook thread even though the last post is on page 168. I've had similar problems like this before, but never have I seen a topic skip 3 whole pages.
If enough posts get deleted from a thread then the pages remain even though the posts are gone - thus the extra pages you can't access. At least that is what I understood from a mod once when I had the same question.
Just a glitch I think. It doesnt have anything to do with deleted posts as I dont see even a single post deleted from that thread. lol.
If you all were Board Certified and world renown Threadologists like myself, you will know that this phenomenon is "Page Cancer." When a thread grows and multiplies at a rapid rate, these corrupt pages begin to grow. Luckily, these pages are benign and do not spread throughout the thread itself's pages, or through the entire forum. My researchers are currently working on a way to cure this common disease, and are working hard on the "Trim-hammer," which the mods can wield.
Seriously!? This happened to you to! Last time I checked the Super quickhook thread the "last page" was supposedly 169(no it's not funny) and the thread kept claiming that there was 171 pages!
I've had this issue with the "mass what should i get?" thread in General Game Discussion. I try to go to the last page but it always loads the second to last.
Are you under the impression you've got a virus or something? The same thing happens to everyone on the forum, it's always done it and everyone's seen it. It's not unique to you, you're not being hacked.
