I absolutely love Beneath a Steel Sky, one of the best games on my iPod. The story is great and it's fun and addictive trying to figure out the puzzles .
I'm going to have to give that a +1. Awesome game, at 3 bucks you gotta get it. I also love Beneath a Steel Sky and Monkey Island alot too. If you have all 3, you'll be set for a good long time, even if you've played both classic games before.
I got kinda bored playing the lite version. It just didn't have anything that the others do IMO. Plus I don't like first person adventure games excluding a few good flash games. Still sticking with Fridges as my current favorite though.
Yeah it took me quite a while to beat . I was playing it in short spurts for about a week but then I went on a train trip, played it both down and back, and beat it. Great game to play while traveling .
I still haven't beaten it. However, I have not and will not use the tips for that game; I have been really tempted to do so before, but I remained true to my word.
Yeah I only used a few tips, when I was stuck for a looooong time . The puzzles are quite hard but not totally impossible, although without the hints sometimes they can get a little rough.
Simon the Sorcerer. It's irreverent, funny, and an all-around good time. Controls suck (you might need to use walk-throughs to figure out where to tap) but the pure enjoyment of the game more than makes up for it. ________ Vermont dispensary
Monkey Island is the best adventure game. I can't remember the word, but it's basically what Dragon Lair is to laserdisc games. You mention adventure games, you mention Monkey Island. BASS is also a good one. The cutscenes and sounds are remastered and the controls are the best. The story is good (not my taste though, especially the dry british jokes) but the graphics are not remastered - which is no big deal as it's a retro game afterall.
Just in case you haven't bought All Fridges Are Psychotic yet, and aren't sure about it parting with your cash, we've released a lite (free) version... All Fridges Are Psychotic LITE
This might be a dumb question. What exactly constitutes a 'point and click game'? Or is it self-explanatory?
