    Dear all seniors,

May I know how long does Apple take to review and approve an new app?

My iTunes Connect status has been showing: waiting for review for 2 days.

    Thanks in advance. : )

Usually it goes 'in review' in a week and then its released within a day if everything is alright with the app.

My experience with apps which are based on upcoming events/festivals are sometimes treated as priority. e.g. an app for Halloween will be reviewed a bit faster(3-5 days) if it is submitted couple of weeks before Halloween

  4. Ours took 1 week to approve a new app and 2 days to approve the update.

Is there any way to control what day of the week it comes out or it automatically comes out once they finish the review process?

You can setup the exact date!Usually you want to set a date so that after your app is accepted you could promote the game, also in this time you will be able to send promo codes!

2 weeks for our first game and 1 week for our second. A friend mine, his only took 1 day (unbelievable)!

And yes you can! You can set availability date to whatever you want it to be. If your availability date comes to past before your app is approved, the app will be published as soon as it is approved.

Erm, is it possible to resubmit my new game application?
I just realized that the version I send to Apple got a bug with the restart button...

  9. Just reject your own app in iTunes Connect then reupload. You will be put back to the end of the queue.

I know of someone who got an update through in 24 hours too... But this was recently and for iOS 5 support so I think Apple have been working over time.

It differs. We have just fixed an issue with the iPhone 4S in two apps - one was reviewed and in the store within 24 hours, the other is still waiting for review after six days.

Eve of Impact took one day, I wonder if this time has something todo with the kind of app you submit?
