So would it be safe to say it's mostly chavs that carry them around? No offense, if that's a sensitive term. I just learned it recently and jumped at the chance to use it :D

Haha, that would be very accurate. It's not a sensitive term unless you're using it as an insult... although some chavs seem to enjoy being classed as the unintelligent scum of the country, which just goes to show how appropriate the label is I suppose.

Knife crime is only really a problem in the main cities, i.e - London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow etc. Elsewhere in rural towns and villages there's very little crime.

That's not too far removed from how it is here in the US, only pertaining to guns. Although, I'd say that there are more gun accidents in the 'burds than actual intentional harm.

I guess no matter where you go, there will be crazy and crazy will find a way to harm you regardless of laws if crazy wants to. Crazy do what crazy want to.

Is it safe to eat mayonnaise that expired in February... 2010?

It smells okay, I think. I don't see any discolouration.

Highly doubt it unless it was refrigerated then possibly. I wouldn't risk it though food poisoning is hell.

Thanks guys. You're right, it's probably not worth the risk. The only other thing in my fridge are some rhubarb leaves. I guess I'll just snack on those.

Snack on those? What was your plan with the mayonnaise, start spooning it into your mouth?

Nah, just spread a 1/4" layer on a greased frying pan, fry and voila! Instant eggs!

Replace that Mayo with Chipotle Mayo. If that stuff was 100 years expired, I'd still eat it.
