Space Tripper is an original 3D horizontal shooter by Pompom Games and was converted by True Axis and will be published by True Axis.

It will be published in Nov 2011.

The game will be Universal and will include Game Centre and Openfeint.

There will be three types of gameplay:

    1. Campaign mode
    2. Score Attack mode
    3. Challenge mode

Here's a gameplay video on the smaller devices but looks great on iPad and iPad2 and runs at 60fps for that smooth update.

Hey, I remember playing this game from a loooong time ago. I can't remember if it was the demo or if I actually brought it, or if it came with a magazine. Anyway, it's good fun on the PC, so I'll grab this when it becomes available.

I remember that spider boss well. :)

Pompom wrote great code, lightning fast particle colorful no lag at all.

Glad to see this coming! Always liked them, still have a copy of Space Tripper on my Mac. I wonder how the controls will feel? This game needs super fast reaction and the keyboard felt great with it...

Will it support the Apple Wireless keyboard, synced through Bluetooth, on the iOS conversion?

    It will be $3.99US.

The game only supports Accelerometer, which we have worked extremely hard on to make as responsive as posible while keeping faithful to the original game on PC. There is also a sensitivity slider incase you like your controls really twitchy.

We tried a touch interface before, but it worked terribly, although, to be honest, we did that test on the iPhone before the iPad was available. We hadn't actually considered that some people might like to play games through the wireless keyboard.
