Congrats to Warhammer Quest! What a squeaker!

Also a reminder that there's still a little more than 24 hours to vote in the indie GoTY poll and it's currently a close one too.

Congrats to WHQ, Badland and XCom!

It's very surprising to me that 2 strategy games made the top 3, but hey, these 2 games are definitely among the best games on iOS no doubt. :)

    Ditto :D
XCom and WHQ are great Turn Based Strategy games that are truly excellent with a touchscreen.

2013 has been wonderful for iOS gaming, despite the obnoxious business model of some FTP games (not all!), and this is showing in this very strong top 10.

Pretty ironic that WHQ, one of the most expensive games in the appstore, that has never been on sale, is the winner here (one of the most expensive if you include the two 5$ IAP quests, and the -non essential- heros).
And I'm still amazed that I could play an almost identical version of Xbox360/PS3 XCom on my iPad :)
This shows there's still a niche market on iOS for higher priced high quality games.

And I guess I really should try Badland now :)

And big up to undeadcow for all this work! ;)

Congrats to the devs of WH Quest. 3 of my favourite games of last year, with Badland being my favourite of the 3, just something about that game feels perfect on my iPhone.

Can't wait to see what 2014 has to offer where despite all the freemium clutter, these games prove that iOS gaming still rocks!!!

Great job UndeadCow. And congrats to WQ, Badland and Xcom. This was the year of the premium app it seems. The first is 5, second 4 and last 20 dollars. Nice.
