I've been wondering this for a while now and seems more productive to post this than write a college paper I'm a very avid iOS gamer and keep up to date by checking all the good iphone/ipad news sites for any thing new or cool that got released or is upcoming. But how does the typical iphone/ipod user findout about new games when they aren't featured prominently by apple or in the top 50? Is it mainly through the app store on the iphone under the categories such as new game releases or such? For example how did the average user find out about the awesome new game Hot Springs Story enough to get it number 90 on the top paid apps list ? Hope I don't sound ignorant but I'm curious to hear your guys responses! Cheers Feel like a retard seeing recognition speeeled wrong :/
Before I found TA I scoured the new releases, and wasted a lot of money on games that weren't very good. Finding that hidden gem was more satisfying back then though.
