I've checked US, Canada, New Zealand , Australia, Singapore , Philippines , Sweden, Russia , Finland , Ireland , and Japan.

Don't see it.
Also, why isn't it on any of Fishlab's social media outlets? They never just drop a game with no advertising.

Starting to think this is a hoax.

 

Love how OP isn't sharing anything more than 'it's out' so people will click on their video which is inundated with ads. If I were you, don't give this person's video any views and just wait for any official info which should be available soon.

 

Unfortunately, I think you're most likely correct, there. I figured that was probably the case, after checking all of the English language AppStores, and not seeing it anywhere. After that didn't pan out, and then spent about another half hour, searching with Google, and couldn't find a single mention of it anywhere at all. So, I'm definitely leaning toward the hoax theory, until someone proves otherwise.

But an IP like Dead Island being released on mobile for the first time by a developer like Fishlabs (who just recently released Galaxy on Fire 3)?
With not even a whisper anywhere on the internet outside of a YouTube video filled with ads?

Possibly this is just a soft-launch and not globally released yet, in which case the OP should adjust the thread to not create further confusion.

I'm quite glad that we were wrong to on this one. Hopefully, it'll show up over here now, sometime in the not too distant future. I have enough trouble remembering/sorting through the AppStore accounts I've got now, and really don't have a whole lot of desire to have more, entirely for Soft Launched F2P stuff, right now.

 

I am a huge fan of the Dead Island series but this isn't exactly what I would've expected (F2P? ) but I digress...

Before I even attempt to go through the trouble of creating another Apple ID in order to give this a shot can anyone answer this question: is a persistent internet connection required in order to play this game? Thanks!
