Episode 3 will be introduced as an IAP for the free download version for 1.99...totally worth it I think, I can't believe how much better the third episode has shaped up to be than the first two. Not to downplay them of course : ) but the content difference and overall polish is just phenomenal!
You'll always be building your character's power so no loss. Also, make sure to collect as much in-game cash as you can. The cell phone item in Episode 3 allows you to call into 900 numbers that provide huge boosts on a pay-per-boost basis. It's one of the more interesting new items as it opens up a few new strategies (it'll just hurt Marty's wallet).
Oh sweet. I'm going to have to start saving up cash to use on premium rate phone calls Will the phone numbers be in the game to find or listed somewhere? Possibly in some kind of phone book out back of a cafe in the past
We're saving time travel for a future episode. The phone numbers are all posted around in the world on billboards and other signs. There is five different numbers that provide stat boosts - there is also 20+ other numbers from pop culture that are just implemented for fun. Those numbers won't give any kind of boost, but they're fun to find.
I've been trying to convince Vince to put out a soundtrack for a while, he's still considering it so it may happen in the future. I'll keep everyone updated. We're planning to add an online shop to our website, so we'll have it there when/if it comes to fruition.
Episode 3 will definitely arrive on November 15th! Apple just approved the update, so there is nothing holding it back now!
Great stuff. But is there no chance of just releasing it around about now? since its an update and not a new game release. Well I suppose its only 6 more days to wait
I don't know - we're crossing our fingers that we'll be able to get featured again. I'm afraid if we release it now we won't even be close to being on Apple's mind for a feature next Thursday. In all likelihood the update will probably be live on Tuesday night at the earliest.
Ah I see. It would be nice if you got featured its the kind of game that has a certain audience so some more coverage would never be a bad thing. I was only joking anyways I can wait I'm busy making tracks on trials evo.
Are there plans to optimized for iphone 5? Or by any chance is that in the pending update that was submitted?
Episode 3 is processing for the App Store right now! I'm crossing my fingers that there isn't a ton of bugs and issues with the update - we didn't get as much time to do testing on this episode.
