CookingPie Well-Known Member Mar 25, 2014 177 0 16 #6 CookingPie, Feb 21, 2016 1/2 serious. It's not good business practice to piss off your customers- and for what? minimal gain ! They'll probably make more money giving the game away for free with IAP purchases, than selling it for $1. But I would bet anyone that bought it in the last 3 days and then saw it go free will NOT be making any IAP purchases Snooptalian Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2009 1,938 8 38 #7 Snooptalian, Feb 21, 2016 Not mad really, as I did buy it for .99 when it was dropped a couple days ago, but to then drop it to free a couple days later is pretty cheesy. First time I've seen a dev do this before. CookingPie Well-Known Member Mar 25, 2014 177 0 16 #8 CookingPie, Feb 21, 2016 it's happened to me a few times and i feel cheated each time. almost all apps i have paid for have gone free after a certain amount of time, which is fine. it's just when the sale precedes it going completely free that i think it is bad for business. and bad for the app store too, as it makes you feel that price drops are so random and unpredictable.
