Hi, heres an update on the game Heres what its all about:- You plunder crates and booty from cargo ships and smugglers and take them back to your island to cash them in for gold, the more gold you have the more the navy comes after you. The arcade mode has endless waves of baddies Campaign mode will be a little bit more rpg with bosses and other worlds (fingers crossed) It all still needs work so i'm not sure when it'll be done, Thanks for looking, Robin.
Heres a little preview vid, still needs a lot of work, but im on it. i think. revamp of code to take it from 0.7 to 0.8 im looking at multiplayer and working at the campaign mode. hope you like how its progressing. this is looking pretty good so far. A 3D plunderland of sort? Looking forward to seeing it closer to release.
yeah the names similar, but im really trying to go for something more like a slower paced minigore, but with a return to base mechanic and upgrades. so its more in the mold of a dual stick shooter.. except theyll only be one stick, well for the classic mode.. the somali pirate arcade mode will probably have a 360 machine gun on your speedboat. long overdue update Hi, Its been a while since i last posted .. sorry, you know how it is.. stuff gets in the way.. things happen blah blah blah. anyway, the games still being made, but ive renamed it Plunderworld. as calling it plunderdogs was bugging me. so its become less obscure and more generic. its up to version 0.83 now. the main codes been rewritten by my coder kev Ive updated the screenshots on the first post. im building it for retina, but an ipad version is on the cards itll probably be a universal.. freemium thing. with an android release .. which will be a bit more effects heavy, as ios cant handle draw calls very well. the games been improved a bit. you can break open crates to reveal random plunder, silk , tea.. old rope.. power ups.. etc. air ships are in. but no way to kill them yet! haha Day and night cycles are in. ship upgrades are in dev mode but havent properly been implemented in the customise screen yet. still a fair bit to fit back in.. like effects and events. but i hope to start beta testing around xmas. ive been working on sorting out the Plundertank mode.. heres a sneak peek of some rough graphics. same game basically.. but.. you shoot trucks.. instead of cargo ships.
