Just soft launched in the Phillipines for iOS users. Hopefully it will roll out to other regions before global release. Great turn based strategy. Short battles which is good for mobile, but you can play for long sessions if you want as there's plenty to do. Graphics are top-notch, audio too. The battle maps have different terrain you can use for strategy (hills, forests, swamps, etc) Collect troops, lots of upgrades and special skills. Really havin fun. ONE ISSUE: on my iPad mini 1, this game crashed a lot until I logged out of GameCenter. I submitted the bug to the devs, but just be aware. If you are having issues, log out of GameCenter. Then it runs smooth as silk! dragonx91 Well-Known Member Mar 9, 2016 66 0 6 #3 dragonx91, Aug 15, 2016 Loving the game so far aconfusedkender Well-Known Member Sep 28, 2012 1,362 122 63 Oil & Gas Kendermore, Ansalon #4 aconfusedkender, Aug 16, 2016 Last edited: Aug 20, 2016 Ok I've been hooked to this damn game! It is absolutely awesome. The tactics gameplay reminds me a little of HoMM. There is no "energy" system persay but you do have to wait until your unit respawn which doesn't take long. If you're good then this doesn't really hinder you until way later in the game. Your units all level up and you get items that enhance them as well as upgradable items. The cutscene graphics are good as well and the battle can be zoomed in and out. All in all its freaking awesome! I recommend for sure. gmattergames Well-Known Member Mar 1, 2013 607 41 28 #5 gmattergames, Sep 29, 2016 Not sure my problem, crashes on title. Snappy UI, tons of depth, does not 'feel' like a ftp game... You can PvP anytime you want by attacking other warlords on your map. It's asynchronous AFAIK. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,569 896 113 #10 ste86uk, Sep 30, 2016 Last edited: Sep 30, 2016 Game looks and sounds awesome, will download it as soon as I get home. Battles are pretty basic and straight forward, but I'm assuming this will change as I unlock more troops in the coming days. Recommend this game for sure. Nachtfischer Well-Known Member Feb 7, 2013 230 8 18 Game Designer Germany https://ludokultur.de/ #12 Nachtfischer, Sep 30, 2016 I certainly hope so. The start is incredibly slow, dull and boring. Like until the 10th battle (or where I'm at now), there is literally nothing to this game in terms of challenge or interesting elements really. If that doesn't change dramatically very soon, I'm out. KeKhan Well-Known Member May 28, 2012 1,380 43 48 #13 KeKhan, Sep 30, 2016 I think that's meant to introduce you to things gradually. If you are familiar with strategy games then it might seem slow at first. It gets a lot more complex. After your troops start unlocking special abilities (and so do enemy troops and players) there's more option in battle. Also there are new hazards and things introduced in the maps, like cannons, mortars, burning fields, explosives, etc etc. I think it starts slow so the masses grasp it more easily. thesinmaster Well-Known Member Aug 27, 2013 80 0 0 #14 thesinmaster, Sep 30, 2016 Pretty solid game and fair as F2P so far Misguided Well-Known Member Jan 27, 2009 2,346 19 38 #15 Misguided, Sep 30, 2016 Though I'm not that far along, you can tell you are right because of the nature of some of the specials. Units get abilities that change position with enemies, push them back, force them to stop, etc. all of those are interesting tactically. The one thing that seems like an odd omission is that facing isn't important, though I'm fine with that for a mobile game (because it makes the interface more fiddly). Surprised how good this is so far. ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,569 896 113 #16 ste86uk, Sep 30, 2016 Does this sync between devices? Really want to play it on my iPad but then at the same time it would be nice to do it on my phone too ste86uk Well-Known Member May 9, 2012 6,569 896 113 #17 ste86uk, Sep 30, 2016 I'm liking the game so far, as said previously it is very obvious that the game is slowly introducing elements. If it started out extremely difficult from the first mission most people would probably stop playing. All I dislike is knowing I'm spending gold and upgrades on these troops knowing I'll probably find better ones as I progress. I haven't upgraded much at the forge because of it. Misguided Well-Known Member Jan 27, 2009 2,346 19 38 #18 Misguided, Sep 30, 2016 Not that I have seen, but there is a user ID like with many other games, so maybe they will add it?
