Any suggestions for a Lamiere build? Also she is Pierce, right? So I should use Blueclaw Cards instead of Park ones? So far I've been only using slash tree skills but I don't think they are worth having +% Slash gear over +% Pierce gear.

The level 46 set is really easy to farm, even more so if you have good lower-level stuff from the nice people in this thread. Hard Peel comes from snails, Gem Crystal (something like that) come from the gems in the towers, and Empty Armor comes from those ghosts who wear armor (I farm those in that tunnel where they are the only monsters).
I am but if you just want the achievements I can wait however long it takes for you to just send them back.

Another newb question: What's with the side quests about the arena? I played through the arena in each town, but those quests are still not fulfilled. I just wounded up removing them in order to get actual side quests outside of the arena.
Whenever you get an arena quest, just go into the menu and read the requirements of the quest, it should tell you which arena battle to do, no?

I downloaded this game a while back, but just recently decided to really play it. I see a lot of people in the thread asking for gears and such, so my question is: Is grinding for really good gear required to be able to beat the game? I just beat the crab boss and got to the 2nd town. I managed to craft a grand pudding set for my pochi, and my other 2 characters are just using whatever equips I come across while killing monsters.
No not required, but it can make the difference between a 5 minute boss fight and a 1 minute boss fight, when you can hit twice as hard, or only take half the damage, or both.
