Some elements in beta catered to casual play that I wish would have been more challenging, for example allowing few points for matching cards of the same color lets you to position the board to get a poker hand so you never get "stuck." For a game like PokerTower, given the limited poker hand arrangements, this is probably handled the best way possible and makes the game accessible. The open-ness of matching colors struck me as catering more to high score chasing that methodical puzzle gameplay so is easier to recommend for casual and "pick up and play" gamers or perfectionists trying to best the open ended dynamics. The retro grayscale (?) graphics, apparent from the screenshots, are entertaining. As you can see from the first screenshot there is a good amount of game types. I'll definitely be curious to see more from these developers. sweetdiss Well-Known Member Jun 15, 2009 1,745 5 38 #4 sweetdiss, Feb 27, 2013 This looks really sweet, especially the stat saving, but will it be Universal? Between, I'm one of the proud developers of this game, and be sure that I will be the most active as I can, and I'll try to read every comments I receive about the game! (Also, excuse me for my bad english some times, I'm a french canadian ) Right now, the game is not universal, but it's probably something we'd like to do in a future version of the game. But as the game is 8-Bit, there's no real difference between the 2X mode and iPad native mode.
