I noticed last night this was on sale for the HD/iPad version but not the regular version. When I saw the thread I thought it was just that... but cool... it's the regular version too. Downloading now. This is one of the few well known and loved platformers I wanted to get on iOS.

  2. I don't see anyway to move the controls, but in this game, it is ok, cause the controls are low and close together. I thought you liked thr controls high on the ipad.

Game is good though, just starting to play now.

  3. Hehe, I always want you to be happy!!! Cause you are one of my imaginary friends, that's what my psychologist tells me. ;)

This game is worth two ninjackids bucks, in case anyone asks.

I dunno where you looked, but trust me, this is an awesome game. One of the best platformers on iOS. Do yourself a favor and grab it!

  7. Cool game. Plays a lot like Super Mario
bros in a lot of different ways. The biggest negative is the graphics are not ipad retina, I was expecting that it is hd, it would be. But looks good on my tv. I wouldn't consider this the best platform game like one poster said, I think I like wimp and mikey shorts better. But it is definitely one of the better platformers, indeed.

    Highly recommended.

I've been wondering this, too. I'd love to play it with full widescreen support on my new iPod touch 5th gen...

For people that bought it does it live up to how people here talk about it?

Since you asked, I gave the first level a play through and have to say: wow. Rarely do I play platformers which have this level of polish on my iPad. I really haven't given it a fair shake, but first impressions, erm, impress!

    I would recommend it!

I played it back on the Nintendo DS and its one of the more fun, focused platformers that I played.

  15. Every level? Fireball works fine with me, no crashes. New ipad, ios 6.0.1

I remember playing this on a C64 emulator (back when emulators were almost unheard of!) and thinking how similar it is to Super Mario Bros 1.

Never been a big fan of SMB1 (SMB3 and onwards for me) but I purchased since when it comes to platformers I pretty much get anything Syntheticvoid recommends lol.

A bit annoyed it isn't universal though.

    Thanks for the info.

  18. Didn't quite agree at first, but now that I have been playing a big yesterday night, it is funner than it looks on first sight. Starting to really dig this game now, can see why you say it now. This game grows on you for sure.

Bought it when it was $.99 in 2011 for some days. Okay: Recommended.

But: No Game Center, no Lite versions (any more), and:

Doesn't work here on iPad 4 and I can't stand the original music.

Does this play like the orginal Mario or like super Mario's world?
