      Hey everyone i have an iphone 3gs and was wondering if there were any specific games that only ran on the 3gs.

      If not, how about games that are optimized or have exclusive 3gs content?

      Speed Forge has a motion blur option that only works on the 3GS, and it's pretty amazing. Great graphics.

      Dark Raider has a 3GS-only version of the game.

      It's called Dark Raider 3GS ;)

      GTA was made for 2nd gen and above devices. Worms is optimised for 3Gs as is parcle panic.

      There is a game called "Blue Skies 3GS," which is a very good top down shooter game. It even has Open Feint updated to the newest release version.

      The Unreal Engine 3 has been ported to the Ipod Touch 3G/ Iphone 3GS and Epic Games will be licensing it out in the future!

      :)

      (Many great games run on this engine such as; Gears of War 1 & 2, Bioshock 1 & 2, and Mass Effect)

      doesn't space ninja also have a motion blur effect only for 3rd gen devices too?

      Puppet Jump 3D will have 3GS specific features (realtime shadow mapping). I just posted a video and some screenshots over here:

      BTW I'm the author of Blue Skies and Dark Raider. I have a background in shader programming so I've been cranking out 3GS titles with shader effects :)

      Awesome im excited for the future releases

      I'm just waiting for someone to integrate the compass into a game that would be amazing

      Ground Effect in stereoscopic 3D mode needs a 3gs or a 3rd gen iPod touch to run at a smooth 30 FPS as it obviously has to render everything twice, once for each eye.

      It also runs at a 'perfect' frame rate of 60 FPS on a 3gs in standard mode.
