This is the first time a puzzle monster game has been introduced into a full virtual world on mobile devices and in its Beta countries Battle Camp has been in the top 50 multiple times simply through word of mouth. The Story Players enter Battle Camp as a Rookie Ranger with a team of monsters and encouraged by their instructor Penny, a talking Penguin. Players then begin training to be defenders of the island and take on the evil forces in each of the games unique zones. The Gameplay Battle Camp uses a gem matching system like Puzzles and Dragons for its combat. Players must battle against monsters to capture them and increase the strength of their team. The more powerful the monster, the more pieces of the monster a player must collect to capture it. Players can also join with troops to complete Raids that also offer higher rarity monsters. If players ever get board of capturing monsters and raiding they can also try their hand in synchronous PvP. That means that players are matching gems against each other in real time to see who can make their monsters attack and demolish the other team first. Players and their Troops are also given access to their own Troop Hall where they feed a Troop Pet to battle with during Troop Wars. Troop Wars are one of three unique events (additional events in the works) that players can engage in if they are bored of completing quests and leveling monsters. Overall, Battle Camp has taken that monster collecting gameplay and carried it into a full virtual world where players can show off and interact with each other.
