If you liked the lite version, and thought that $3.99 was too much, now you have no excuse. Down to $0.99. From what I have read a worthy TD type game.
Was about to buy it then I realized I had way too many TD games already. Some I haven't even launched for the first time yet!
my excuse is that im saving money for Rolando 2 Anyway, didn't know there was a lite version out, will check out now!
This should be a no brainer at this price...25 maps and solid gameplay. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=14553
Not super impressed with the lite version so far. It's not bad, but seems too similar to 7 Cities, which I already own.
I got the lite version, the graphics look pretty good, but the towers are hard to distinguish imo. And the gameplay is missing something...it doesn't really have an identity I like different TD games such as Creeps and Zombie attack.
I got this 2 days ago. Been playing it off and on. There are some very nice things about it. Harpoon is very cool. Like the glue in Creeps, but it stops them cold. Also is the ability to actually make a particular tower target a specific enemy. Drives me buggy in The Creeps that all your stuff will concentrate on 1 enemy sometimes, and another will get through almost unscathed, and the targeted one gets pwned in the middle of the maze. (I am talking about lots of monsters going through, and having a large concentration of firepower at a particular location..) But I think depth wise - The Creeps with its multiple maps, and the different levels of difficulty, as well as different game modes seems deeper. Overall very happy with the purchase though, and don't regret it at all.
I've held off on most TD games but took the plunge on sweet water for a buck. High quality, imo. The fast forward / rewind aspect is a nice touch. Since I'm always buying for the kids as well as myself, I've got to believe it will help them overcome the frustration level with some TD games. Overall, well worth the buck.
That's GREAT news, I've been wondering about getting this game for days, then saw this thread. I'm a happy camper lol
