War has broken out on the Alidas Continent. The South Alidan army, under the banner of the Great Empire of Alidas (the GEA), is marching towards the border of the northern Republic Nations of Alidas (the RNA). As GEA battalions draw closer and closer to the ramshackle RNA front conscription is rushed through the parliament and farmers, schoolboys, fathers, and husbands are charging towards a war they did not choose to fight.

    This is the Battleline.

Battleline: Touch Combat is the second title from Brisbane-based Celestial Beings Studio, after their iOS title Epic Cat Runner. A change of pace and direction, Battleline has the team tackling the action genre for the first time.

Battleline: Touch Combat is a top-down shooter with both single-player and multiplayer modes. The single-player campaign tells the story of a conscripted soldier fighting for the safety and security of home through exciting levels with a variety of weapons and abilities. The Challenge mode sees players fending off the hordes of the GEA for high scores.

The multiplayer component of the game has players battling each other with their weapons and abilities to try and lead their army to victory through a dynamic and evolving war.

    The Soldier revealed!

Soldiers are the bread and butter of the Battleline: Touch Combat army!

With medium range and average mobility, Soldiers are the standard rifleman class. These jacks-of-all-trades were farmers, office workers, fathers, and husbands before the fighting broke out. Now, they work and fight to protect their families and are driven by the thought of ending the war soon. Hopefully…
