Please post ONLY if you own the game(s).

Given the time that has passed and hype died down, which would you rate?

    [app]Pinball Fantasies[/app]

    [app]ZEN Pinball: Rollercoaster[/app]

    [app]ZEN Pinball: Inferno[/app]

    [app]Wild West Pinball[/app]

    [app]The Deep Pinball[/app]

    [app]Monster Pinball[/app]

    [app]Pinball Dreaming: Pinball Dreams[/app]

Of those you own, which is best/worst?

    I love the following:

    Monster Pinball
    The Deep
    Wild West
    Freeballing
    Zen Pinball Rollercoaster
    Zen Pinball Inferno

I don't really know how I would rate them from best to worst.
For what it's worth, Monster Pinball is my absolute favorite, with The Deep close behind.

IMO, The Deep and Wild West pinball games are the best. It's like an actual pinball game. :b And the graphics are pretty good too.

monster pinball is by far the most amazing.

sounds alone make it worth but the visuals are stunning and gameplay is awesome

monster pinball feels like a game that wants you to play it. It constantly gives you chances to earn more points, earn more balls, and the 6 tables keeps it pretty fresh

I own all of them except Inferno and it is just Dreams and Fantasies that keep me coming back.

Monster Pinball was interesting, but for the classic experience, I prefer The Deep.

Deep and wild west. I got used to monster for a while but the physics are too fast for me after trying to switch back. I enjoy the floaty physics of the deep and wild west

THe Deep. Now that it is out, I see no need in keeping WWP. The others, meh.

Ugh. The Deep is a snoozefest. Pinball Dreams and Monster Pinball are by far my favorites.

    Fantasies

Pinball Fantasies. By a long shot. The retro graphics are the best part, if you can appreciate them. If you don't like retro, you're better off with The Deep.

Wild West is by far my favorite (I really should get the deep), partly because it was free :)

Wild West and the Deep have superior physics and great camera action. They both feel like real pinball games to me. I am old school for sure. My only wish is for more ramps on those games. My right hand feels kinda lonely!!!

Based on the responses in this thread, I'm gonna give monster pinball a try. It looks pretty good.

The rest? Well, if you like pinball, save your quarters for the arcade. Anyone up for "The Getaway: High Speed II?"??? How 'bout G'N'R?

For fun - Monster Pinball. I still gotta check out Pinball Fantasies although I'll probably wait for a sale.

No offense, but you must have played some really boring tables in the past because I can't remember any real pinball machines that felt so... unexciting. Even some of the more lackluster movie-licensed tables I've played have more pizazz, and I've played some pretty underwhelming ones over the years.

I think you'll be waiting a while. I think it was well worth the money. Then again, I was very familiar with the game already so there were no big surprises for me.

Well, dear me, bless my soul... I guess I must be old school...

Actually, I agree with you that both games are somewhat lacking in action.

My point was that they both get the physics just right. I'd love for this developer to take this game engine and give us a pinball experience with tons of ramps, multiple flippers and a lot more to do. All of which would be completely irrelevant if the pinball itself doesn't even move or feel like a real object.

So, in that regard, my original point was that yeah, they got it pretty right.

Have you ever played either of the real tables I mentioned BTW?

I'll likely never delete Wild West Pinball or The Deep from my phone. Really enjoy both games still. They're right up there with Doodle Jump for me in the "play for a quick 30 seconds" department.
