8 Track Mind is a unique puzzle game and an interactive musical composition coming soon exclusively for iPhone and iPod touch. It's not a rhythm game, or a Simon Says game, it's much more. Part mind-bending puzzle and part interactive music box, 8 Track Mind challenges your ears with slick beats and cool original tunes.

    Features:
    • 20 mind-bending musical puzzles.
    • Over 160 tracks of original music.
    • Multiple game modes: Play levels one at a time, or play through all the levels in order, and see how high you can get your score!
    • Saves detailed statistics like 'Total Points Awarded' and 'Total Time Played' so you can see just how addictive the gameplay really is.
    • Fully OpenFeint Enabled: 20 leaderboards and 12 achievements worth a total of 200 points.
    • Post your achievements on Facebook or Twitter, and compare scores with your friends using OpenFeint 2.3

8 Track Mind is good fun.

I've played 8 Track Mind for hours and hours of good fun. The levels are well thought out, they challenge but don't frustrate. They're involving because you've got to listen and concentrate on a piece of music to then duplicated it with a set of buttons (each playing a single line of music - some of the buttons play lines that are in the original composition, some play lines that sound good, but aren't part of the original composition). So, in a sense there are no wrong choices, just choices that advance you to the next level or not. The tunes are catchy, they stay with you and entertain, its really good music. And the way the replay works the buttons are randomized so even if you play a level over and over again you still have to engage in the interactivity to win that level, no coasting.
Full disclosure - I was a beta tester for this app, it was a privilege to help in a small way the unique game come into being.
