This game looks similar to PvZ, but offers much more variation. Well worth the regular price of $1.99 and for $.99 it is a steal! wilson_BR Active Member Nov 2, 2011 36 0 6 video game developer Calgary http://www.ninjaDinoShowdown.com #3 wilson_BR, Apr 6, 2012 I swear I posted this earlier today, but here I find someone stepped up, thanks for the help guys We've already updated the game a few times since last month-- soon we'll be adding badges, achievements/game center, cloud saves, horde mode, and of course more episodes. I only have $4.81 and this seems like another TD PvZ type even with the moving of ninjas... undeadcow Well-Known Member Dec 4, 2010 9,493 2 36 Houston, TX #7 undeadcow, Apr 7, 2012 Last edited: Apr 7, 2012 It is regretable that every lane based defense game is compared to PvZ. I recommend Ninja Dino Showdown (NDS) and I hate tower defense games because NDS requires much more active control. Not only do you have to frantically move ninjas... you also get bonuses for stacking multiple ninjas in one lane (making it more strategic), can initiate limited ninja special attacks, may need to furiously tap the screen to revive a fallen ninja, or may have to tap attacking dinosaurs to block their special attack. The sort of mini real time strategy mechanic really makes NDS shine verssus the standard tower defense dreck. PvZ always struck be as slower and less difficult (I beat it with ease). Overall NDS feels very polished and has a fun difficulty. With limited funds it fallls to taste but I've enjoyed NDS. Too bad there is not a lite/trial NDS. I did get addicted by PvZ tho. It's a lot faster paced than PvZ. Thanks for posting! But I decided to give it a try due to what people said about the game. And after several hours of playing, simply amazing. Imo better than PvZ. Creds to undeadcow for the recommendation LOLavi Well-Known Member May 23, 2011 8,364 0 0 iPhone gamer Finland #14 LOLavi, Apr 8, 2012 Not exactly last bit, I still have some left, but I must say I'm impressed! It's like Gem Keeper mixed with PvZ mixed with Battleheart! Really an awesome, challenging and different game Buck well spent. wilson_BR Active Member Nov 2, 2011 36 0 6 video game developer Calgary http://www.ninjaDinoShowdown.com #15 wilson_BR, Apr 9, 2012 Just letting you guys know, today's the last day of the sale. Glad you're enjoying it Currently, we're adding a triple time mechanic that lets you speed up the game, making it more difficult and engaging, but rewards you the more you do. We're thinking of adding a horde mode after that. (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Show Ignored Content Share This Page Tweet Your name or email address: Do you already have an account?
