It's a great app and all, but lately people have posted price drops on apps that are not games. This is TouchArcade, this isn't AppShopper.
Agreed. This app is neat. Definitely grabbing the free IAPS. TouchArcade has forums for both games and apps. Personally, I like seeing both.
I don't mind seeing worthy apps posted such as this one. I've no real purpose for it at this time but back-filing it as I never know when it could come in handy. Looks to be a good deal with the free iap. Thanks for posting!
I also like to see apps like this posted in the price drop section. I'd never know about them otherwise and I'm greatful for the heads up. I always assumed this price drop section was for both games and apps. This one will come in handy as we travel a few times a year, thanks for sharing.
If we are taking a poll count me among those who appreciate any quality price drops, games or no, posted here. The non-game apps are so infrequent it hardly seems worth the debate.
Same. And the occasional GOG or Steam deal. Anything that's helpful and appreciated by the forum seems good to me.
I remember reading about this app a long time ago, and then completely forgetting about it. I didn't have an iPhone at the time. Thanks MrBiggles for posting about it. I also appreciate any decent price drops beng posted. I would have missed out on this, if it hadn't been posted on this forum.
Great app, thanks for the heads up. Easy solution for those that don't want to see news etc about apps other than games; don't read the thread, just ignore it.
The free 'Erase words' demo is pretty cool - take a photo, but with any text in the shot stripped out. Not sure when I'd use it in any practical way, but the people I showed were impressed.
Agree 100%. The non-games that are infrequently posted are usually really high quality apps I'm interested in.
Exactly. As far as I'm aware these still no good AppShopper-esque service to tell you about IAP price drops so I'm glad to see any worthy drops here.
This is strange. I downloaded this app and installed it both on an iPhone 5 and iPad 4. When I go to the IAPs, it shows nothing. I did try restoring purchases, even though there is nothing to restore, which is exactly what it tells me. Never had this issue before with IAPs. I'll try again later. Not sure what the problem is, but since no IAP shows up, I haven't been able to download any of it.
Maybe you have Restrictions turned on in your Settings and In-app purchases turned off on your iPhone or maybe the sale for IAPs has already ended. I would check that just in case.
