Exploration, Sacrifice, and the Serenity of Desolation
Trapped in an ancient, half-submerged city and desperate for supplies, you must explore the flooded streets in your simple fishing boat, and scale the ruined buildings that hold the promise of salvation.
With gorgeous visuals powered by Unreal Engine 4, ethereal music and a world you want to visit, Submerged will drag you under.

    More soon!

looks really good! waiting for new infos. but for the moment it sounds a bit like a tech demo like epic citadel. but hope i actually hope its gonna be a survival game where you can craft stuff! and even fight enemies but this last one i doubt.

lol I was thinking the same.

But UE4? I guess this game is for PC and not for mobile devices. Can't find anything that says this is for iPhone/iPad.

Still no word on a mobile release. The article only says: "Expect to see Submerged on Mac, PC and mobile devices."

Holy crap... Not sure how to embed IGN videos, but here's the link.

Reminds me of Shadow of the Colossus's serene exploration scenes, and also the "loved one" that is being cared for in the game which may be part of the reason of the exploration.

I love what i see here, and im feeling positive about this. EPOCH.1 and .2 are 2 of my favorite game on the appstore, and Uppercut Games seem to be doing this one really well too.

are there any updates or new info on the mobile release of this game? definitely one I'm looking forward too...

  19. Submerged is indeed coming to mobile!

We are working on our release strategy at the moment, as we're doing PC, XBOX One, PS4 and Mobile. That's a lot of platforms to get ready.

So far we have only had the game running with Metal, we have not started to look at any lower end devices yet, but to be honest I suspect UE4 will just run to slow. But as always we will try to get it running on as many as possible.

to Answer a few questions I have seen in the tread:

Submerged is pure exploration and puzzle solving. It's a game about relaxing and enjoying yourself!
There is no combat, death or failure states. You play as Miku a 14 year old girl who has been stranded in a Submerged City with her injured little brother. Your job is to explore the city and find the few remaining supplies to nurse him back to health.

We stopped into IGN last month at GDC and Ed did a Lets Play video with them, you can check the game out (on PC) here, he also talks a bit about our philosophy on doing custom touch screen controls for the Mobile version.
