Since this is originally an arcade game, there's nothing inherently wrong with a free to play model. The graphics are enhanced and work full-screen, which is also a plus. But that's as much as you can say for it. The frame rate has taken a serious hit, and the animation has been simplified to the point of losing most of its charm. Worse yet, the ads are both terrible and intrusive, with no removal mechanism. Seriously? Already losing interest, and then... Freemium nonsense doesn't look good. Lottery for new characters, costs gems. No idea if you get them on daily bonuses. Losing more interest. Stamina system. 6 lives. 5 minutes to regen a life. Harder difficulty costs 2 lives, though, and hardest costs 3. (Harder modes also aren't available at first.)
