Such a shame that it's going unnoticed. I don't say this much about games, but it just feels so lovingly crafted. Whether it's the little jingle between levels, the old TV screen effects during and especially between levels/failure and the lack of IAPs, the entire game feels like it was made by a bunch of people who just wanted to make a fun reflex-based puzzler. This isn't your typical Cut the Rope physics based puzzler though...think of it as being influenced by twitch based platformers where you've got a split second to make a move. Highly recommended. ievilgames Well-Known Member Dec 20, 2010 63 0 0 Developer UK http://www.ievilgames.com #9 ievilgames, Mar 13, 2013 I'm going to have to try this one! It's a really good puzzler (albeit lacking in difficulty). It features a new mechanic that is really intiuitive and you can see that the devs spent a good amount of time polishing the game. The atmosphere and creature design is also unique and extends to every bit of the presentation including the music. It's a game that shouldn't be missed by any puzzler fans and at that price, it's a bargain killercow Well-Known Member Apr 8, 2009 3,783 1 38 https://twitter.com/killercow #11 killercow, Mar 27, 2013 Last edited: Mar 27, 2013 Now universal! Not too easy, not too difficult. I'm really enjoying this. Highly recommended. Request to the devs: add a leaderboard with total number of teleports not used. Maybe in combination with a time based point system where an unused teleport is worth a few seconds or something like that. Would add replay value at least for people who are into it (and what's the harm to people who are not?) Oh, and on my iPad 2 the loading of each level, including reset of a level, is very slow (couple of seconds). Could use some performance improvement, but its nothing that makes me not like the game very much Andy C83 Well-Known Member Oct 20, 2010 3,627 20 38 Over the Rainbow #15 Andy C83, Apr 29, 2013 Last edited: Apr 29, 2013 So I was browsing some reviews on AppSpy, and I came across a 5/5 review for this game which I'd never heard of before. So I come to this thread and see MC giving it the "brilliant" and ''lovingly crafted" plus more positive comments from Killercow and others. So I decided to buy it, and after completing the first set of levels, I fully agree with the positive comments. Playing this game kind of puts me in mind of the game Pudding Monsters. The gameplay is completely different, but in terms of polish, attention to detail and fun, I'd put it up there with that game. Also, like Pudding Monsters, this game may be geared more towards the casual crowd, which is no bad thing. As some of you will know, if you give me a tough as nails game I'll be all over it. But it's also nice to kick back with less stressful game now and again, especially when it's as well made as this one is. Of course I've only played 20/80 levels, so there's every chance that Monster Meltdown will end up kicking my backside. As a final note, the price of this game has been up and down a bit since release, probably due to poor sales. But for it's worth, I was more than glad to pay £1.49 for a game that does what it does so very well, and asks for nothing more than that you enjoy playing it. killercow Well-Known Member Apr 8, 2009 3,783 1 38 https://twitter.com/killercow #16 killercow, Apr 29, 2013 I'm just pointing it out but the dev (Ambient Studios), after failling a kickstarter campaign for Death Inc, is now dead. Unique and innovative visuals. Excellent puzzles and controls. I really enjoyed this game. Only thing missing for me is leaderboards, like one for total number of teleports and one which is time based. Other candidates for me are Cover Orange 2 and Little Luca. As you notice, I'm into physics based puzzle games (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
