There are missions in which your objective is to hack corporations (i.e.: film studios, insurance companies, biotech companies etc.). There are around 20 different types of corporations. And there are missions in which you have to break into personal computers (i.e.: investors, judges, etc.). Targets can be from 20 different countries. Depending from which country they are and the type of company (or occupation), their computer files will be related to what they do and in the language they speak. Also, the names of people in the game are generated based on their language and country. And quite often you may need to make use of some of their personal information, like their pet's name, spouse's name, hobbies, etc... Therefore, most likely, you will never play the same mission twice GentlemanRaptor Active Member Jun 19, 2014 26 0 0 #5 GentlemanRaptor, Aug 6, 2015 nsigma, are you the dev? If so, nice job on this one. Pocket Tactics actually let me know about the game, so good job getting the word out. nsigma Member Jul 9, 2015 9 0 0 #6 nsigma, Aug 7, 2015 @GentlemanRaptor: Thank you! Yes, we are the devs GentlemanRaptor Active Member Jun 19, 2014 26 0 0 #7 GentlemanRaptor, Aug 8, 2015 I have found a bug-sometimes the notepad will go black and not allow any more text to be copied or viewed unless all entries are deleted. Kind of a pain as it means that objectives are invisible and unrecoverable. nsigma Member Jul 9, 2015 9 0 0 #8 nsigma, Aug 8, 2015 First of all, we are very sorry for the inconvenience. We became aware of this bug three days ago and we already fixed and sent an updated version of the game to the App Store yesterday. On our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/CyberHackerGame) we proposed a temporary workaround until the fixed version is live on the store. Basically, if you delete the first note only, the notepad becomes usable again and you don't have to delete all entries... Are the missions short or more geared toward 30 minute or longer chunks? Also, can you save your game at any point or more checkpoint style? Appreciate anyone's help! I'd like to know the flow of what I'm getting into with this. Looks interesting! nsigma Member Jul 9, 2015 9 0 0 #12 nsigma, Aug 10, 2015 It depends on the security level of the target. For easy targets, it takes few minutes and for more secure targets it can take considerably longer. You can save the game at any point. In fact, when you quit the game, it automatically saves your progress. We are planning to create a trailer with some actual gameplay to give a better idea on how the game flows. We will post it here when it's done. nsigma Member Jul 9, 2015 9 0 0 #13 nsigma, Aug 13, 2015 Hey guys, We just wanted to inform you that the update is already on the App Store. We have fixed the bug that would make the notepad inside the game go black sometimes. nsigma Member Jul 9, 2015 9 0 0 #14 nsigma, Aug 17, 2015 Here is the new trailer for Cyber Hacker: https://vimeo.com/136455294 imdakine1 Well-Known Member Aug 23, 2011 1,229 22 38 #15 imdakine1, Aug 22, 2015 I had uplink on my Mac and liked it... Was going to get it on the iPad but I heard the font was hard to read. This seems interesting but not sure how much tying is involved since on a computer it is easy to type but on the iPhone and iPad it is getting easier but not perfect. imdakine1 Well-Known Member Aug 23, 2011 1,229 22 38 #16 imdakine1, Aug 22, 2015 I had uplink on my Mac and liked it... In some cases you will have to type usernames, passwords, and some simple commands, but mostly they are a few characters long only. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
