I hope they port Garou: Mark of the Wolves next. That's definitely the best SNK fighting game I've ever played.
Garou and Third Strike ports with simplified controls like Volt and KoF-i with online multiplayer would be a drame came true.
2012-i has much nicer controls... Personal preference I guess! I can't get to grips with 97/98 at all. Also no online play is a real killer. No one is going to use bluetooth. It really limits everything.
Are KOF-i 2012's Simple Commands a different control system than the options offered in the other versions? If so, I might enjoy it more and might even try the online multiplayer.
I was just reading the description, and now I'm confused. It says in the app description the game supports Bluetooth controllers.....that's different than MFi. Does this also support MFi? (I have a MOGA, and like most of the current MFi offerings, the lightning plug is used to connect the device).
This has been pretty fun so far. I'm out of town so can only play with touch controls, but they work well enough. The SP does make things easier since it auto assigns attack inputs (with the d-pad) to what would be the corresponding button press....nice touch like in 2012-i. Also, someone mentioned not liking re 4;3 aspect, and that can be changed in options to full screen. No chance on MP yet, but guess it won't matter if it's only Bluetooth.
Hi guys! Long time lurker at the forums and this is actually my first post. I just wanted to let you know of something I recently found out when browsing through pp25. I found that some unknown company in china released KOF-SNK games (96-97-98-99-2002-2003 and even Snk vs Capcom Chaos) for pretty much all ios devices. I tried the games and they all run at near full frame rate on my iphone 3GS (Except for 2003, probably because of the switch character function it has). As an exclusive 3GS user, I think this is an amazing discovery, because I tried to emulate these games through ifba/imameforall and I was never able to get any of them working, let alone run them at full speed on my device. I wanted to bring this out not only because I think other users like me will find this useful, but also as an example that the 3GS still has a lot of potential and with a bluetooth controller it could make a pretty decent portable arcade system (like a souped up dingoo A-380). I hope this post doesn't get deleted. I just wanted to let you guys know this "discovery" (because I didn't find any information about it in any page that wasn't chinese), maybe you will find it as interesting as I do?
