Everplay gave me a promo code for my birthday and man am i loving this game! This gives more dimension to the MF/SCB formula, and is definitely something i'll permanently have on my 4s.
What kind of RPG elements are there in the game besides the unlockable upgrades shown in the screenshot?

I dont really know how to tell, but the pixels are very bright and crisp on the 4s. Is there any solid way to tell?
If they look like the pixels in Terra Noctis, they aren't retina. If they're as "bright and crisp" as those in, say... League of Evil or SCB, then they are.
Thanks Frost! It is! And you need bigger font size to justify "awesome" for this game! Your character levels up as you play the game, and it seems your max HP is tied to your current level. As with spell cards, the higher their level, the stronger they are in terms of range, strengths, number of shots, etc. depending on the element. Equips increase their levels, so depending on your playstyle, you could customize your character to be stronger with some elements, or if you want to have a balance of each one. Im still not sure if you can get to a point where everything gets maxed.
Cant really tell. I dont have Terra Noctis so I cant make any comparison. The thing about Spellsword is that it has used a lot more shading that LOE or SCB. Sorry cant help much with the retina question, but i can recommend the game as a must buy. Expecially if you have that itch everytime you play MF or SCB that something may be missing.
