The results from last week are here!! Project 83113 came first with 31 votes, Alexandria Bloodshow takes second place with 12 votes and 3rd place goes to Tiny Troopers with 9 votes. Congratulations to all the winners! Last week's thread: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=137566 The first part is nomination where every member can vote up to 5 games to be included in the poll. 10 games with the most nominations will then be added to the poll on Sunday. Poll will remain open until next Wednesday and whichever game has the max votes, will be the GOTW. Please note: 1) Devs cannot vote for their own games. If your game is in the poll, you can't vote. You are free to ask TA forum posters in your game release thread to vote for your game... but please don't post multiple messages about it. 2) This voting is for TA members - no outsiders allowed. You cannot bring outsiders to join simply to vote and increase your ranking in this thread. Notice of this poll will be given in the threads of all nominated games. Additional games that spring up in the next few days will be added to the OP, so no worries. Please wait until Thursday to begin giving nominations - this is so that we can get the majority of games listed before making decisions. Feel free to help out and list games I haven't added yet. I'll post the pending NZ releases to alert the community to them. You can see new games by looking at AppShopper.com and checking the "New" tab. http://appshopper.com/games/new/ Major games out this week: Akane the Kunoichi Thread Babel Rising 3D Thread Video Disco Kitten Thread Video Eager Beaver Thread Video Human Defense Thread Video Max Astro: Stranded Beyond the Stars Thread Video MUTANT STORM (iPad) Thread Video Pocket Planes Thread Video Suspect In Sight Thread Video Temple Run: Brave Thread Video Total Toadz Thread Video WarGames: WOPR Thread Video Thread Video
Yeah, Suspect in Sight. That list, by the way, is pretty sad. But in spite of the ridiculous busty icon, Akane the Kunoichi actually looks like a decent game. The sprites are fugly, but the gameplay looks pretty solid.
Nominations: Mutant Storm Chrono & Cash Pocket Planes War Games Mike & Milkbox tough week for nominations... =oP
Definitely going with Pocket Planes. It's more sophisticated than Tiny Towers, meaning I won't get bored of it as fast, and it's another freemium title done right (coming from someone who hates Farmville type games). I actually enjoyed TT for the first two weeks or so. Got to 40 floors in that short period of time. It just got way too repetitive since there were so few things to manage/do. Haven't played a freemium title since, I think. Found Suspect in Sight and TR: Brave to be pretty mediocre. TR: Brave is fun, but not as good as the original game.
