    Available Wednesday August 4th!

All was well in the Gnome kingdom of Ruelle ... until the Ogres came. The Gnome's castle was torched and their Princess taken. Will you be the one to save her ?

This is no ordinary carnival game, and Chuck is no ordinary Gnome. Neither plastic garden gnome nor animated caricature, Chuck is immortal, with the unique ability to be furiously hurled into the jaws of death only to respawn, remarkably unharmed, and ready to fly once more!

To save his Princess you will need to

    - Fling Chuck through treacherous lands
    - Hurl Chuck to discover secret achievements,
    - Up Chuck to unlock new episodes, and minigames!

All this you must do to win her release from the clutches of the Ogre's six headed dragon ... Farnsworth.

    Game Features include

    - 5 Pixel perfect episodes (not including the Minigames!) each with its own unique visual style!
    - Multilayered environments you can only explore through the magic of Gnome Vision (well, the iphone's Accelerometer control)
    - Choreographed enemies that go far beyond the usual Carnival game
    - Orchestral soundtrack by Tapani Siirtola (of Minigore Fame!) of Sound Real Finland!
    - Openfeint online achievements and leaderboards
    - Unlimited Gnomes to Chuck !

Some have asked " What is the nature of Chuck Gnome ?" To which we have replied " Chuck Gnome is Ammo." And Chuck him you must, chuck him without mercy! To defeat the perils that await you Must Chuck Gnomes .

    Really liking the layered graphics.

  3. Thanks! The idea was based on doing an adventure "story" in the method that large theme parks like Disney do their games/rides but more intense (in game play ;) If you've ever been... The Buzz light year ride is a good example

Thanks Sammysin! I'm the dev for Chuck Gnome, just wanted to let you know that yeah, we take our illustrated 2d set pieces and place them accross several layers in 3d space. This way you have to tilt the phone to get the whole picture of whats going on. It also makes for a popup book type of feel which was one of our inspirations. That said, I've got a promo code on reserve once we release for the Touch Arcader who can give us the best marketing name for our tilt control (well, better than Gnome Vision at least).

Feel free to post any other questions you guys have, My partner and I will be checking the forum pretty regularly.

This is a very fun game and well polished. Developer is very open to questions and suggestions. I have been having fun with testing it. There is so much more than meets the eye here. Sometimes a frenetic pace, but always needing to be careful in aiming at the targets makes for a great game.

Quite happy to see it will be released soon!

I hate it when devs make their games look so good. I'd have no choice but to instant buy them when they release.

Nice! If this doesn't become the name for the tilt control we'll certainly snag it for an in game super weapon ;)

  18. You guys had great suggestions. It really helped us get that final polish Chuck was looking for.

  19. Thanks for the compliment. We hope you enjoy Chuck... please give us feedback after you give it a try. We'd love to hear from you.

Also check the website in few days. I'll be posting some art from an all new level we're workin on.
