Ever wanted to orchestrate your own firework show?

Firework Flare blends mechanics of Fruit Ninja with fireworks to let you do just that!

Select and chain flares together in order to gain jaw dropping combos. Hope for random critical detonations and power ups to boost your spectacular show. Collect all 10 fireworks and be amazed at the explosions you can create in the sky!

    Two game modes!
ARCADE: 60 seconds of firework launches to perfect your score! How high can you go?
SANDBOX: Test out your firework collection by creating firework explosions at will!

10 Fireworks to collect including fireworks shaped as candy!

    3 Power-ups!

Critical hits, some fireworks are super charged!

    Here's a gameplay video:

    Hi everyone!

Exciting times, I've been working on my game, Firework Flare, over the past year in between my CS studies. The game was originally inspired by my love for the mechanics behind two games, Fruit Ninja, and an old PS2 launch title Fantavision, and is now ready to be submitted to the app store! This will be my first app on the app store, and although I can see many places where I would wish to improve or add functionality to my game, I'm very proud of it. It'll be free, as I believe more downloads will benefit me more career wise than the off chance it becomes a big hit. I've learned a tremendous amount from doing this project in my spare time. It not only got me an internship last summer at a company called The App Business in London, but also helped me grow as a developer. I made many mistakes working on Firework Flare and I hope to carry on the lessons over to my next projects.

For those of you in the UK, Firework Flare will hopefully be live on the app store by 5th November. Furthermore, I wonder about any spike in downloads during fireworky times of the year, specifically new years and 4th July, but we shall see.

If you have any questions about my game, or the process I went through to develop it, please don't hesitate to ask =)

    Thanks bigrand1! =)

Firework Flare is now available for download on the App Store. It's free, so give it a shot! =)

I'm also being interviewed by my University's student newspaper today and there should be an article about my game and my experiences creating it up soon. I will post a link when it is, for those interested =)

    Thanks!
