Hello everybody! My name is Tak/mrfungfung and I made some games before (www.MiniSquadron.com and www.FoxVsDuck.com). So whilst I was having some downtime to mess about a bit, I got talking to my friend Rex, who suggested an idea of making a ToDo app for him. And one thing led to another and the whole thing snowballed into this mad thing: Check out the website here: www.EpicWinApp.com! The idea is that it is a very *simple* todo app, but we make it a bit more RPG gamey for FUNS! (no guns ). You can follow developments on @EpicWinApp in twitter. And while I'm here, MiniSquadron 2 is still being designed, and researched on. Its definitely something that will appear, but will need a bit more thought to make it more awesome when it does arrive Thank you again for all the support that comes from TA forums, always nice to talk to people here!
Bizarre. Absurdist. Weird in ways that really made me laugh. It's like the digital to-do list version of a bastard child between the movie UHF and PowerThirst. I'm so in.
Hello Tak Epic trailer. I'm sure I could have a great score with this app. Nice art (as ever) and the characters are really cute (yes, the Ent too)
I SO need this! Because a) I never really get to the bottom of my to-do lists and b) everything Tak comes up with is pure genius ^^
Well, they do have Rex from Media Molecule... if you've seen some of his doodles, like this one! From the MM site. PS: It's a Macbook Air
This looks... well... EPIC! Is there going to be an emphasis on the todo portion? Currently I use 2do because of all the features and flexibility it offers. So basically, will it be supplemental to what I currently use or will it have lots of options to replace whatever ToDo app someone is using?
Thanks for all the great comments! @VeganTnT The Todo part is a fairly standard affair, but the concept behind it was to be simple to use, without too much freaky features at the start. Rex and I both agree that whilst the current todo apps are very powerful - we often just want a super simple "list of stuff we need getting done", as thats what we find ourselves often doing when writing down todo lists at work. Hope that helps dude!
