Damn it, Sanuku -- beat my thread by a couple of minutes. Here's a link to the PocketGamer story.

Am I excited about this? You bet!

Alien vs Humans is a decent clone of the original XCom. We're talking about last year's reboot, which won several "Game of the Year" awards. Not even in the same category.

I may be wrong, but if I'm correct wouldn't this be the first FULL port of a current generation console game for iOS devices?

"The only changes players should expect in the iOS game is fewer maps; a result of file size limitations on the iPad, and a revised user interface that makes sense on the iPad. Even with the reduction of map numbers, Solomon says there will still be more maps than what a player would experience in a single playthrough of the game's PC and console versions.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown will release in the summer on iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
A release date and pricing is yet to be announced, although a 2K representative told Polygon the game will be a premium-priced app."

"We've been told it will not include the Slingshot pack downloadable content, however the Elite Soldier DLC will be included. Meanwhile, the free Second Wave update has not yet been ruled out."

This is awesome. Had been thinking about grabbing a copy for PC but I'm definitely gonna wait to play it on my iPad instead.

Nope; all of Telltale's stuff is available on iOS. There's also Bastion (Consoles, PC), LostWinds 1&2 (Wii), World of Goo (Wii), Liberation Maiden (3DS), and Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rainslick Precipice of Darkness: Episode 3 (Consoles, PC).

Plenty of DS titles, as well. Final Fantasy III and IV are the DS ports.

  16. Best iOS-related news I've seen in years probably. Eagerly anticipating this game, will buy day 1 if it doesn't end up being terrible.

Let`s hope that we will hear tomorrow from the Guys from Gearbox Software they they are working on an Borderlands Game that isn`t as bad as Borderlands Legends for Mobile and we could call it a great Week for 2KGames. *Fingers crossed*

Just read this a minute ago on Kotaku and I'm sooo stoked! I played the hell out of this game on the 360. If it's just a port... it still has to be huge. I wonder if it'll play as nice but I'm getting it no matter what. There better be a quick save cuz I'll admit that I'm not super amazing at this game when it comes to keeping characters alive :p

Not really. The Trailer hasn`t much information but as far as we can assume from what the Trailer has shown so far is that the Textures where squizzed down so the Filesize will be something between 1,8 GB - 2 GB.
