App info is currently processing and/or the app is not yet fully available for sale on the US App Store. Launched just over a week ago and is now free, has a flood of 5 star ratings mostly all from the same day ... all seems suspect ... But it's free, makes noise and has AB support ...
There is an IAP for premium mode for $6.99, so they basically released a lite version for $2.99 and now dropped the price to what it really should be.
Originally the iAP also included Audiobus support, which violated the license. They updated it recently to have AB support available without the iAP so now you get a pretty good deal with the base app, especially when it's free.
Yea it's a bit wierd that a company like Amidio missed that Audiobus license thing since it's not their first app with audiobus. Anyway they fixed it fast and with Audiobus support now included it's definitely a good deal. The basic version is limited to 16 factory chords (the most popular according the info), which can make it a bit limiting. You won't however find any better guitar sim/instrument on the AppStore, this thing is really expressive and follows how you play it with different articulations, fret noises, "mutes" etc. This app is a good deal at full price (10 bucks).
It isn't against the AB license. However, Audiobus won't promote your app (in their database, by email, etc.) without it being a feature included w/the base app. WeJam is an example.
It's clearly stated in the license that iAP AB support is not allowed. It's not simply a case of promotion. They can also revoke use of the SDK for violations.
Yup, back to 2.99. I helped translate the app description from non-native English to English, so I never payed in he first place.
