He wasn't my favorite, but was provably the best, yes.

I do prefer Craig though. That's just me.

Btw, im going to post this because i can. My top 2012 list is

    1. Hobbit
    2. TDKR
    3. Avengers.
(Those just cant not be my top 3, sorry)
    4. Django
    5. Jack Reacher
    6. Zero Dark Thirty
    7. Killing Them Softly
    8. Looper
    9. Skyfall.
    10. Dredd
    11. Cabin in the Woods
    12. The Grey
    13. The Master
    14. Some others. A lot of comedies, that in reality actually suck.
The list continues until eventually reaching my ShitList, which Is just too damn long to bother.

Skyfall was kind if boring to me. When Q said, "What did you expect, an exploding pen? We don't do that anymore," I disappointed. First of all, an organization doing that, especially an elite intelligence group like MI6, is kicking itself in the ass. Also, Bond movies, in my opinion, are supposed to have over-the-top gadgets and making them seem real.

TL;DR: Skyfall was missing the gadgets.

  5. Does itunes ever have movie rentals for free or on sale for a buck? I get some starbucks free movie rentals, any other way to get free or buck movie rentals. I'm not interested in paying $5 for an itunes movie rental.

    Thank you.

Heading out to see Zero Dark Thirty and Django Unchained. Already know this is going to be an epic movie trip. Last time until Spring Break!

    Also, so many Oscar snubs!

I don't have a list of movies I considered the best of 2012, but I will say the ones that had the most emotional and thematic impact on me were Looper and The Dark Knight Rises.

So I will list them as such:

Best movies of 2012, technically, emotionally, thematically:

    The Dark Knight Rises
    Looper

Zero Dark Thirty started off pretty good. Got slower as the movie went on. What should have been the climax (the op) came off as unexciting.

Django Unchained was just bizarre. ItÂ’s a movie that you need to see. Tarantino..damn. So many powerhouse performances. Great movie date.

  16. It was alright. I think I would rather have had no name professional singers than the big stars though.

Both this and Lincoln almost put me to sleep. Guess I will stick to dark knight even though it won't get any oscars like these movies will.

Saw Anchorman and the Truman Show in the past couple of days. Both great films in their own rights, worth watching if you haven't already.

Hah, the Oscars seem to always be won by movies that are champions at putting one to sleep. The last real Oscar-worthy movie for me (seriously) was Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. The rest were just duds. I can see ZDT winning best motion picture, but really it was just B-O-R-I-N-G for the most part. A 7/10 movie, decently good but not great (enough).

My personal best movie was Think Like a Man (black man's comedy). You should really watch it. I am a huge fan of comedies (romantic, family, dark, action). Biggest disappointment was pretty much the Hobbit. I stayed away from the cinemas for 12 months pretty much just cause I wanted to watch Hobbit with a pure heart (I did catch TDKR though as I was "forced" by my cousins! - another OK but not GREAT movie).

I believe I have watched every single mainstream rom-com at the very least released since 2008, and then some.
