Finished uploading the new teaser trailer for Twilight Golf. This one shows off the great new sprite artwork done by the artist we hired to clean up our programmer art. It also shows a couple new levels and some new gameplay elements like the path indicator. The video was recorded from a screen capture of the simulator, and despite the high quality video we started with, iMovie still managed to make a muddy blurry video from it. We also were unable to record the sound output from the simulator, so we don't get to show off the physics based sound engine in this video either. As soon as we get our hands on a nice camera, we'll make a video running on the actual device and record the real sound output. We're pretty proud that even with all the physics and shadowing going on, the game is still able to run smoothly on a first generation iPod Touch. [hqyoutube]EhSq8jqxTx4[/hqyoutube]
I wasn't part of the beta (or previous posts for that matter), but does "golf" have much to do with the actual game play? I see some reference to strokes.. Looks really nice though!
Not really but in more of melon golf if you have ever played it. Not sure if I am allowed to explain much but is in similar in concept to the game I mentioned...I betad it and was very pleased by the game
Has this game been submitted to Apple for approval yet? Maybe I missed it, but I haven't seen any info on release dates.
