Two very good games, I Dig It! Expeditions (or IDIE as I will abbreviate it) and Pac Man: CE (which I will call 'Pac' as je suis tres fatigue et parreseux). I just need the advice on which one. The situation is different though. On Sunday for a week, I am going on a skiing holiday. This means that any game will: -only be played in short bursts except from flight; -be the last bought before Xmas. So, the pros and cons: PAC MAN: CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION Pros: -Good reviews from people I trust; -Looks amazing, gameplay is good; -Good in short bursts; -Would be perfect in the sense that I can choose whether to get DLC or not on Christmas. -On sale for limited time. Cons: -ONE bad review. Lingers in my consciousness even though I trust STP, TouchARcade and AppAdvice; -Not much game without DLC; -same old generic pacman? -will it go on sale to 99c? I DIG IT: EXPEDITIONS Pros: -Liked lite version a lot; -Not disliked by many; -Good value. Cons: -for longer bursts of play; -may get boring and/or confusing; -PacMan is on sale, this could join it after I buy it. Need help: PAC or IDIE?
If you have a really long flight I would reccomend I Dig It. Quality Wise they're on par with each other, while I Dig It is cheaper (The DLC is pretty much required in Pac). If your flight is relatively short it really comes down to whether you like the gameplay style of I Dig It or Pac Man better and you are willing to pay the extra cash from Pac.
Two different worlds, bot with best quality. Get what you are interested in more or simply get both. The digging game is not my cup, the first version bored me, so personally, I would say Pac-Man, since I have a blast with it!
Maybe purchase I Dig It! (not Expedition) since you like the Lite and it's only a buck. Plus, it's been recently updated, so there is more to do. You will also have 2 dollars for another game or two you might want to purchase. Good luck
