I knew it! The other day I was thinking 'What will be gameloft's next game?' and I guessed it would be an RPG because it was the one major genre that they haven't covered. I was actually about to start a thread about the prospect of gameloft making an RPG, no need now, lol.
same here! especially now that they have this game! an ARPG finally! Different classes and lots of skills pls + character customization
Sounds interesting. Maybe a half decent story too. I'm hoping for full 3d like Zelda. Controls can be something like HoS, but with much more depth (maybe some gesture based special moves, that you can unlock?). Some cool leveling system and some weapon/armor upgrades too. Is that too much to ask of Gameloft?
Wow...So many great games from Gameloft, kinda wish i got the 16G ITouch, the 8G is having trouble holding all these impressive games since i got a ton of music too....
Definition: RPG stands for Role Playing Game. It is a genre of video game in which the player controls one or more characters, usually on some kind of quest. The emphasis in role playing games is on increasing the abilities of the characters (stats such as strength, magical power, sword skill and the like) and collecting items (better armor, healing potions, etc) that allow the completion of the quest. Most role playing games are set in fairly open environments that allow the payer to choose from many possible paths, and often include side quests not necessary to the competion of the main goal. Hero of Sparta is an Action/Adventure/Hack n' slash game. It is also in the 'Action' section of the Appstore games, not in 'Role Playing'. The app description also says: 'let this epic Action game take you....' and 'For fans of action and hack n' slash games'. I hope I have proved my point
The trailer definitely makes me curious. But with Gameloft comes short games so I'll wait until more information comes out.
