Version 1.1 of Nano Rally (app store link) has been submitted, it includes:

    * Racing lines, for easier navigation
    * 4 camera modes: rotate, fixed, pan slow and pan fast
    * 3 levels of difficulty: Pro, Semi-pro and Amateur

    Heres a video:

Hopefully the update will be live with a week.

Thanks for all the feedback, it helps alot. Hopefully it will be a bit easier to unlock the later levels now, which are the best ones! Honestly, i spend all that time making cool tracks that people will have a blast playing... then make it to hard to get to them! :)

    Cheers

Are there any plans to add opponents to this game? That seems to be the one that that is missing. Even 1 on 1 racing against a ghost would be nice.

The ghost could be your best lap, downloaded from the leaderboards, or better yet, an opponent via bluetooth!

I'm thinking ghost racers because the tracks seem to narrow/confined for multiple real cars...

Is one of those camera modes "heading up" where the car is always pointed forwards and the scenery moves?

Nice update. Could be even better than Black Mamba but it was really frustrating to unlock the levels. This update could open the game up nicely, and some rival Ai characters could make this the mini micro machines :D

    Huzzah! Sounds good.

Been enjoying this game, and will be thrilled if there's bluetooth multiplayer (one more game to add to the "waiting for meeting to start" rotation here at work ;))

Thanks for the update on the update. This is one of those games that I play at least once a day so I'm not surprised that this is gradually moving up the charts.

I dont why, but I love my top down racers from far back as I can remember, firstly it was in the Amiga days with Nitro and Supercars 2, it hasnt stopped there, Micro Machines series is one of my favourite of all time, V3 was particularly good. Then there was that supertruck game I played on the snes emulators and now even this is quite possibly my favourite ipod game. Yes I know there maybe better games technically but I just love love these types of games especially in whacky settings. Wouldnt be suprised if others love this too and help keep this in the charts for a long time.

/Sorry about my English and if the sentences didnt make sense, it aint my first language and I struggle a bit. :(

I was playing through the Bedroom Championshhip and realized if you fail it you have start all the way again from the kitchen championship everytime. Is there a way you can avoid this.

Any news from apple on what the release delay for 1.1 is? Seems a shame that such a great title has the initial issues apparently fixed in an update, and yet its still not available.

I was wondering about this too. It's been about a month and a half since that update was submitted. Any news?
