I remember getting a testflight invite from you mths ago...only to find out it was iPad specific after...well just got a new ipad2 and I'm sooooo ready to hit the buy button...hope to see it today or tomorrow !

Due to a technical issue the game will be released on Ipad 2 first. Iphone will follow shortly after. We've been working on getting the iPad 1 version to run, but with no success. We will keep trying to get it to work of course. The problem we have with the iPad 1 is basically a stupid bug. Kids vs Goblins uses quite a lot of ram, during gameplay it might be something like 110MB of ram. The game runs great on iPad 1. However when the game loads another level some of the ram of a previous level just won't be destroyed, making each following level bigger and bigger in ram. When the iPad 1 hits about 130MB it crashes. Ipad 2 and iPhones dont have any problems with loading. Until we fix the ram issue we can't release on iPad 1. It's really frustrating. Stupid thing is: the game used to run super smooth on an iPad 1 with iOS 4.3. When we upgraded to iOS5 everything turned sour.
Wasn't really a stupid question. I'd be inclined to ask it as well based on recent experiences, especially since I'm on 5.0.1. The only reason it might've come off as (un)intelligent is because most games are made (or at least marketed) with A4 in mind, but it doesn't mean they work. Bummer! Hopefully everything gets sorted out soon and then we can eventually see this on other devices.
Please,do not speak again I wondered whether the game will run on an iPad 1, iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4g, hence my question (probably game was designed for iPhone 4s and iPad 2) Thanks for answer
