Just noticed this has dropped from £1.99 (I think) to free! Seems like an Apple App of the Week to me. Either way get it while you can! (Hopefully someone can add the app info, as I haven't figured that out for mobile yet )
The old drop to 99c then back up to full price then free trick. I've been using the App Store too long, I know all the tricks.

CookingPie Well-Known Member Mar 25, 2014 177 0 16 #7 CookingPie, May 29, 2014 Bought it when it was on sale and the iap pinball mode. Why do they make it free so soon afterwards? What's the trick? Makes me feel I wasted my money- or RATHER coulda bought something else instead. I know it was only a dollar but still... At least I got the first game for free just now. I think I prefer the slower pace of it. But I like the set challenges of the second game allowing you to unlock more weapons. Both games are worth a dollar each, no question about that. Just don't understand the timing of making them free just after a sale.? mr_bez Well-Known Member Dec 20, 2012 2,053 3 38 #8 mr_bez, May 29, 2014 Simple. You make more money that way. Having a sale after a giveaway is far less effective. I'm getting a not enough space message but have almost half a gig free and I'm not sure if it's my iPad on the way out as I keep getting a storage almost full pop up a lot lately. vii-Lucky Well-Known Member Jul 28, 2013 1,611 0 0 #10 vii-Lucky, May 29, 2014 Im not sure but before i deleted it , it consumes around 550-650 MB without the DLC cloudpuff Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2013 3,600 0 36 lazy layabout uk #11 cloudpuff, May 29, 2014 Thank you, looks like I better lose some more stuff lol, I kick myself all the time for going with the smallest memory. fiskadoro Well-Known Member Jan 1, 2009 325 16 18 Chicago, IL #12 fiskadoro, May 29, 2014 I'm not sure if there is any trick to this sale (though, like many, I was skeptical too). I just read their blog post: http://onemanleft.com/2014/05/truly-freedonkulous/ And it sounds like they had an issue with the app so pulled it, but now it's back and it's free. However, I don't know whether they fixed the bug! blahdo Well-Known Member Dec 28, 2013 110 0 16 #13 blahdo, May 29, 2014 What trick is that? CookingPie Well-Known Member Mar 25, 2014 177 0 16 #17 CookingPie, May 29, 2014 yeah, that was my question. why drop the price to a lower tier before then making it free and annoying those that now wished they had waited a week or two longer. in any case, great games and i have no regrets supporting the developer. - just a bit miffed by this practice and what the "trick" is... Mess Well-Known Member Jul 17, 2013 1,353 0 0 #18 Mess, May 30, 2014 Dunno... Maybe there plan is to drop to free for a bit to increase user base, but the drop to 99 before to see if they can grab anyone at that price... Quantum Apocalypse Well-Known Member Mar 23, 2011 795 0 16 Melbourne, Australia #19 Quantum Apocalypse, May 30, 2014 It was Freedonkulous (lite version) that was pulled. trazer Well-Known Member Nov 14, 2013 141 0 0 #20 trazer, May 30, 2014 I played for 15 minutes or so and deleted the game, I realize it's called tilt to live but I wish there was a touch control option as I can stay in the same calibrated position while playing and it frustrates me to be unable to move lol. I previously owned the original, tried the second one and decided its not for me, at least not on an ipad. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
