What do you mean by glitch ? and why would they not just give unlimited pages ? Would it slow things down having too may apps installed ?

I currently have about 21 pages of apps taking up a little over 5gb on my phone with about 4gb free...i don't understand why we are limited in pages either. I can see a limit to keep a certain amount of memory free but that should just be based on memory occupied versus number installed.

Anyway to glitch pages, you need to move your voice recorder icon to your last page and it should be the last icon to go there. You need to have your first page of icons filled so put something there to make it full. It doesn't matter how empty the other pages are as long as they are occupied with something.

Now move your ipod icon from the bottom bar up to the left of the voice recorder icon so it is pushed to the right into the next page and you can't see it anymore. Now reboot your phone and you should have a nice new page empty of icons except for 1.

Yeah this trick is fine. I have 14 pages, it sucks though I can't use the itunes organizer or the applications page to add and remove games or it message up your pages.

Or you could just jailbreak and install categories - it makes the springboard look much nicer imho

I just added an extra page to my ipod touch using the glitch. When you download the new itunes, will it erase your new page?

I´ve updated Itunes and my Ipodtouch 2.Gen several times. Never had any problems. The Extra Pages are still there. At the moment I´ve got 16 Pages.

As far as my experience, the extra pages disappear when I mess around with the Applications tab. If I click it, even just to view it and then sync, they disappear. I have an iPhone 3g and iPod Touch 2g--both 3.1.2 firmware.

So is it better to just erase my extra page? I would really like to kepp it but i dont want to mess up my ipod or lose any games.

This trick is gold. With all the games I've got, this is just what I needed. Someone should sticky this thread.

Even with the new itunes your extra pages didn't dissapear? I've heard from a few people that that happened. I havent downloaded the new itunes yet.

    You can't "erase" pages anyway...

Pages appear and dissapear depending on how many apps you have.

Any normal person should be able to figure that out

    it's not rocket appliences.

Yes, when you d/l the new itunes the pages don't dissapear but as mentioned they do when you mess with the applications page.
