Anyone else have any dead pixels? I just got my air a few weeks ago and I can see 2 dead pixels when holding it in portrait only on black screens. Usually when powering down, I should probably return it huh?
Well its hard to explain, when I go to shut it off I turn it and it shows up then. Maybe just because its a black screen. But I have also seen it playing Lone Wolf because you need to hold it differently sometimes you know?
They might be partly dead, with just one of the sub-pixels dead, rather than fully dead. They can be hard to see depending on the colour of the screen. Google iPhone dead pixel test. Yes you can take it back to Apple even if you bought it somewhere else. Just book a Genius Bar appointment. Both my iPads had one dead pixel, Apple replaced both of them.
Well it's like 1 very small one and it's only really noticeable when a black background is being used. I am fine with it and decided to not return it. Anything I am doing like gaming or videos or net browsing it doesn't show up at all. It literally only shows when I am like turning off my iPad.
