There are demons in the world, but whether they are ally or enemy depends on where you stand and what you do. In Tokyo 199X, a mysterious murder leads to the emergence of demons and an escalating global conflict with the rise of a charismatic rebel leader in possession of a demon army, and external forces that wish to crush such threats with extreme measures. You, the protagonist, have an unusual ability enabled by a computer program that lets you communicate with and recruit demons to your side. As you collect demons, the program will allow you to store, summon, and fuse them to create the right team to negotiate the ever-changing balance of powers, and fight for the kind of world you ultimately wish to live in. ATLUS’ revolutionary RPG series, Shin Megami Tensei, began on the Super Nintendo in 1992, and has gone on to sell millions of copies worldwide. I was realllly hoping that this would be Universal. Especially with the button overlays already covering gameplay area, it would be nice to see them spread out more and with a larger viewing area. Still. Very tempted to get it anyways. ZeroVoid Well-Known Member Dec 4, 2011 108 2 18 #6 ZeroVoid, Mar 17, 2014 Is it available on the store yet? I can't seem to find it. I'll buy either way - SMT is like catnip to me - but it would definitely affect how quickly I'll pick it up if the 2x doesn't "damage" it too much. It's out in New Zealand now and should be in your store at the usual time. ednan Well-Known Member May 27, 2012 664 0 0 Lawyer Somewhere http://www.twitter.com/ednanf #10 ednan, Mar 17, 2014 I really want this. But these screens aren't helping to convince me. They make the thing iPhone only with buttons that cover most part of the screen and the actual gameplay goes into an even smaller screen... I know the game is decades old, but they didn't really even try to smooth things a bit to suit the gameplay. Which is another reason I don't understand why not universal. Even with that crappy small screen it would benefit playing on the iPad for better button positioning. It's a shame the whole product hasn't had a bit more polish that the quality of the gameplay deserves but I'm definitely happier with something than nothing. smegly Well-Known Member Mar 27, 2012 990 0 0 NY, NY #15 smegly, Mar 17, 2014 I can't imagine the fits these 2x iPad whiners would have if they ever played a non-HD video game on a television or monitor. Damn. I really enjoy SMT and Persona series, but this port. I don't know how I feel about this >_____< @Sanuku did you try it on an iPad? Exact-Psience Well-Known Member Jan 12, 2012 22,664 2 38 The Work-At-Home Guy Philippines #18 Exact-Psience, Mar 17, 2014 It's the black border im more worried about as it makes the 2x mode look like crap. Looks like this one will be decent though, coz it seems it already has a black border even on the iphones. chaos_envoys Well-Known Member Jan 1, 2011 1,330 0 36 Medical Doctor Pokke Village, Indonesia #19 chaos_envoys, Mar 18, 2014 But playing is a blast!! loving this game!!!
